Accessibility Statement
The Alliance intends this Site to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or high-contrast settings.
Our approach
- We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
- The Site is plain HTML with semantic headings and landmarks, and works without JavaScript because it uses none.
- Text is resizable, contrast is checked against WCAG minimums, and page structure follows a logical reading and tab order.
- Illustrations carry text alternatives, and the meaning of every graphic is also stated in the surrounding prose.
- No content moves, flashes, or auto-plays.
Known limitations
Some legal pages are long and dense by nature. Where a document's substance can be stated more simply, we include a short summary at the top and are working to extend that practice.
