Privacy Policy

Effective September 16, 2026

The short version. This website collects nothing about you. No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no advertising, no third-party scripts, and no data sold or shared — ever. If you email us, we get your email and use it to reply.

1. What the Site collects

Nothing. The Site is static: it runs no scripts of ours, sets no cookies, loads no fonts, images, or code from third parties, and performs no analytics or fingerprinting. There are no accounts and no forms. Its security policy blocks outbound network requests from its pages.

2. What our host records

Like any website, ours is delivered by a hosting provider whose infrastructure may record standard server log data — IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent — for security, abuse prevention, and delivery. Those logs are held by the provider under its own policies and retention periods. We do not use them for analytics, do not build profiles from them, and do not combine them with anything else.

3. If you contact us

When you email us — general inquiries, a scam report, a suggested record item — we receive your message and email address and use them only to respond, to inform our consumer education work, and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not add you to a mailing list without your asking, and we do not sell, rent, or trade contact information to anyone, for any purpose.

4. Program verification

Enrollment in the guardrail program takes place on the program operator's own website, not here, and is governed by that operator's privacy policy. Where the Alliance participates in verifying eligibility, an email address is used only to confirm eligibility and for periodic re-confirmation; addresses from declined or unanswered parental attestations are deleted.

5. Children

The Site is intended for a general audience and knowingly collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write info@aiwatchdogalliance.org and we will delete it.

6. Your rights

Residents of California, Utah, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom, among others, have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them. Because we hold essentially no personal information from your use of the Site, most requests will have nothing to act on — but we will answer every one. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. Write info@aiwatchdogalliance.org or the postal address below.

7. Security and retention

We keep correspondence only as long as needed for the purpose it was sent, and we apply reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Do Not Track; changes; contact

Because we perform no tracking, Do Not Track signals require no separate response. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date. AI Watchdog Alliance, 450 Main Street, Park City, Utah 84060 · telephone 970-236-8228.
